PROJECT ENGINEER (Polyurethane division)
To manage projects to ensure that company business objectives are achieved. The end results expected are :

* Complete projects within targeted cost, quality and timing requirements.
* Ensure excellence in project execution and results by providing leadership and ensuring good communications between all participants.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Develop and support execution strategy for major projects
2. Critical project success factors are identified and progressively and proactively managed
3. Provide strong project leadership to ensure that the project team remains tightly focused on the project cost and quality objectives and timing.
4. HS&E is managed in all aspects of the project.
5. Ensure that appropriate resources are provided to deliver project outcomes.
6. Adapt or Develop Policies, Standards, Procedures and Work Instructions as required for major projects
7. Develop project Quality plan structure, accountabilities etc. Demonstrate that Policies, Standards, Procedures and Work Instructions as required by the Safety Management System (SMS) are effectively implemented.
8. Fulfil the role and responsibilities for defined positions (or their back up) as described in the Emergency Response Plan, which is part of the Safety Management System (SMS) deliver project objectives.

Key Competencies required for Position
* Training and Education
* Internationally recognised Degree in Engineering.

Skills and Knowledge
Project management knowledge including:

* Good understanding of Design and Construction contracts and contract law in different countries.
* Ability to understand, interpret, communicate and implement design and construction standards in different countries (particularly in English and Bahasa).
* Huntsman Engineering documents handling procedures and EHS standards.
* Project cost control.
* Procurement procedures.
* Tender evaluation.
* Project accounting.
* Planning/scheduling.
* Negotiating methods.
* Commissioning procedures.
* Knowledge of Electrical systems.
* Knowledge of Process Control systems.
* Knowledge of Piping & Vessel systems.
* Knowledge of Civil engineering.

Experience
Ten years minimum experience in the Chemical or Petrochemical industry, possibly including:

* Production supervision
* Risk and asset management
* Project Management
